Our Natural, Baby-Led Approach

Sunflower Photography specializes in an organic newborn photography style that celebrates your baby exactly as they are. Rather than forcing babies into stiff or unnatural positions, we use gentle swaddling, natural placement, soft details, and meaningful family connections to create beautiful, timeless portraits.

Your baby’s comfort and safety will always come first. We do not force babies into unnatural newborn poses. If parents request a more posed photograph, it will only be considered when it can be created safely and comfortably, with a parent assisting and remaining close to their baby. Our goal is to create priceless photographs while allowing your newborn to remain peaceful, secure, and naturally beautiful.

    Not quite ready to bring your new baby out? Stay cozy at home and let us bring the studio experience to you! Our in-home studio setup may be added to your chosen newborn collection, starting at $100.

    We’ll create a polished, studio-style experience in the comfort of your home, allowing you and your baby to remain in a familiar and relaxed environment while still receiving beautifully styled newborn portraits.

  • Bloom Bundle

    $400 plus tax

    A sweet and beautifully curated newborn experience for families who want a simple, intimate session filled with timeless memories. This collection includes one thoughtfully selected scene for your baby, one outfit, and the option to include a family or parent portrait within the same look.

    Together, we’ll choose a scene that reflects your preferred style while keeping the experience relaxed and focused. We’ll capture a thoughtful variety of baby portraits, tiny details, and loving family connections as time and your baby’s comfort allow.

    After your session, you’ll receive a private online gallery where you may select your 30 favorite professionally edited digital images to download, print, post, and share.

  • Sunflower Bundle

    $600 plus tax

    Our most complete newborn portrait experience is designed for families who want to preserve the full beauty of their baby’s earliest days. This collection includes two thoughtfully styled scenes for your baby, one family or parent portrait scene, and up to three outfits.

    Additional outfit changes may be added for $20 per outfit. We’ll create a beautiful variety of portraits while allowing the session to unfold naturally around your baby’s needs, with plenty of time for feeding, soothing, cuddling, and rest.

    There is no need to choose between the moments you love most. Every professionally edited image delivered in your final online gallery is included for you to download, print, post, and share. From tiny details and peaceful portraits to the loving connections between your baby and family, this collection preserves the complete story of this unforgettable beginning.

    Want to preserve the priceless first moments of bringing your baby home? Any of our newborn collections can become an in-home lifestyle session at no additional cost.

    Instead of bringing in a formal studio setup, we’ll use the meaningful spaces within your home—such as your baby’s nursery, your living room, or your bedroom—as the backdrop. These sessions capture the warmth of home through natural cuddles, quiet connections, tiny details, and the beautiful everyday moments of your family settling in together.

    Your chosen newborn collection will be thoughtfully adapted to create authentic, heartfelt photographs in the place where your baby’s story begins.

  • We recommend reaching out before your baby arrives so we can plan ahead for your newborn portraits. Once your little one is here, we’ll confirm the details and make sure everything is ready to capture those precious first memories.

  • Simple is beautiful when it comes to newborn portraits. Neutral colors, soft textures, and minimal patterns help keep the focus on your baby. We’ll also help guide you with outfit ideas and styling so everything photographs beautifully.

  •  Absolutely! Your newborn session isn’t only about your newest addition—it’s about this beautiful new chapter for your entire family. Parents and siblings are welcome to be included so we can capture those genuine connections and create images you’ll treasure for years to come.

  • Babies are babies, and we completely understand! Crying, feeding, diaper changes, and needing a little extra comfort are all perfectly normal. We’ll work with your baby’s needs while focusing on capturing those sweet details and beautiful moments that make this stage so special.

  • Don’t panic! Let’s talk it out. Give us a call to discuss pricing.

  • We offer two options for ordering your photos. All sessions come with an ordering session in our studio. Alternatively, your photos will be available for purchase through your online album.

  • A $50 non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your session date and will be applied toward your total balance. The remaining balance is due on the day of your session and may be paid by cash, check or online payment. Editing will begin once your balance has been paid in full.

  • Yes! Advanced touch-ups are available at $10/image. Contact us for complete details.
