Our Natural, Baby-Led Approach
Sunflower Photography specializes in an organic newborn photography style that celebrates your baby exactly as they are. Rather than forcing babies into stiff or unnatural positions, we use gentle swaddling, natural placement, soft details, and meaningful family connections to create beautiful, timeless portraits.
Your baby’s comfort and safety will always come first. We do not force babies into unnatural newborn poses. If parents request a more posed photograph, it will only be considered when it can be created safely and comfortably, with a parent assisting and remaining close to their baby. Our goal is to create priceless photographs while allowing your newborn to remain peaceful, secure, and naturally beautiful.

A short and comfortable session—because we know being on your feet for too long may be the last thing you want right now! This collection includes one location, one outfit, and your choice of 15 professionally edited digital images from your private online gallery. Bring your baby’s father or your partner along to make these memories even more meaningful.
The Bloom Collection: Baby in Bloom — $350 + tax
As your family begins to bloom, enjoy a little more time and variety to celebrate the beautiful anticipation of your baby’s arrival. This approximately 30-minute session includes one location, up to two outfit changes, and your choice of 30 professionally edited digital images from your private online gallery. Your baby’s father or your partner is welcome to join you for photographs that capture the love and excitement you share.
The Sunflower Collection: In Full Bloom — $450 + tax
Celebrate motherhood in full bloom with a session offering greater variety, creativity, and personalization. This approximately 45-minute experience includes two locations, two to three outfit changes, and your choice of 40 professionally edited digital images from your private online gallery. We’ll create everything from soft, intimate moments to radiant portraits that beautifully showcase your growing family.
The Sunflower Field Collection: A Field of Memories — $550 + tax
Our fullest maternity experience is designed for the mother who wants all the beauty, drama, and creative flair of a magazine-worthy session. With up to three locations, multiple outfits, and plenty of variety, we’ll create a stunning collection of images designed around your vision.
There is no need to narrow down your favorites. Every professionally edited image delivered in your final online gallery is included for you to download, print, post, and share.

Short, sweet, and perfect for families who want a few beautifully updated portraits without a lengthy session. This 15–20 minute session includes one location/scene and your choice of 15 professionally edited digital images from your private online gallery.
Because of its shorter length, the Seedling Collection is best suited for couples, families with older children, or families who can move comfortably and efficiently through the session. It is not recommended for families with young children who may need additional time to warm up, explore, or settle into the experience.
We’ll capture the entire family together along with a few smaller groupings as time allows. You are welcome to remain in one outfit and one location; the collection is designed around a shorter, focused experience.

Absolutely! Your newborn session isn’t only about your newest addition—it’s about this beautiful new chapter for your entire family. Parents and siblings are welcome to be included so we can capture those genuine connections and create images you’ll treasure for years to come.

Babies are babies, and we completely understand! Crying, feeding, diaper changes, and needing a little extra comfort are all perfectly normal. We’ll work with your baby’s needs while focusing on capturing those sweet details and beautiful moments that make this stage so special.

We offer two options for ordering your photos. All sessions come with an ordering session in our studio. Alternatively, your photos will be available for purchase through your online album.

A $50 non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your session date and will be applied toward your total balance. The remaining balance is due on the day of your session and may be paid by cash, check or online payment. Editing will begin once your balance has been paid in full.
